Why We Chose a Scratch-Off Format

When we first began designing My Temple Journey, we knew we wanted it to be more than a journal.

We wanted it to feel interactive.

Something that would encourage people to celebrate progress, set goals, and create memories along the way.

That's what led us to the scratch-off format.

Turning Progress Into Something Visible

There's something satisfying about seeing progress.

Whether it's checking off a goal, completing a challenge, or reaching a milestone, visible progress motivates us to keep moving forward.

We wanted My Temple Journey to provide that same experience.

Each temple visit becomes something you can physically reveal and celebrate.

Creating Excitement

Temple worship is deeply meaningful, but we also wanted the experience of tracking temple visits to be enjoyable and engaging.

The scratch-off feature adds an element of anticipation and excitement to the journey.

Many families tell us they look forward to scratching off temples together after a visit.

Encouraging Goal Setting

One of the things we've learned is that people are more likely to accomplish goals when they can track their progress.

The scratch-off format helps transform temple goals from ideas into something tangible.

Whether your goal is to visit every temple in Utah or simply record your temple journey, seeing progress can be motivating.

Building a Keepsake

Years from now, we hope people can look through My Temple Journey and see a visual representation of their experiences.

Every scratched temple represents a memory, a trip, a lesson learned, or time spent with loved ones.

That makes the book much more than a tracker.

It becomes a keepsake.

Designed With Families in Mind

One of our goals at Brough Made is to create products that bring people together.

The scratch-off format naturally encourages conversations, celebrations, and shared experiences.

Those moments often become some of the most meaningful parts of the journey.

We're grateful for everyone who has chosen to make My Temple Journey part of their family's story.
