The Story Behind Brough Made

Every business starts with an idea.

Brough Made started with a simple desire: to create products that help people preserve meaningful experiences and strengthen the relationships that matter most.

As newlyweds, we've spent a lot of time talking about the kind of life we want to build together. We want our lives to be centered on faith, family, meaningful experiences, and creating memories that last.

As we visited temples and set goals together, we realized something.

Many of the experiences that mean the most to us are easy to forget.

We remember taking photos and telling ourselves we'd never forget certain moments. Yet over time, details began to fade. Dates became harder to remember. Stories became less clear. Experiences that once felt unforgettable slowly became more difficult to recall.

That's when the idea for My Temple Journey began to take shape.

A Product We Wanted for Ourselves

When we started looking for a way to track temple visits and preserve meaningful memories, we struggled to find exactly what we were looking for.

We wanted something that was more than a checklist.

More than a journal.

More than a travel log.

We wanted something that would help us remember not only where we had been, but also the experiences, people, and lessons that made those visits meaningful.

When we couldn't find it, we decided to build it ourselves.

Taking a Leap

Like many first-time business owners, we had no idea how much we would learn along the way.

Designing a product, finding manufacturers, reviewing samples, building a website, creating content, and preparing for launch all came with challenges we never anticipated.

There were moments of excitement, moments of uncertainty, and many late-night conversations trying to figure things out together.

But through every step, we remained focused on the same goal: creating something meaningful that could bless other individuals and families.

Why the Name Brough Made?

The name is simple.

It's our family name and a reminder that every product we create should be something we're proud to put our name on.

For us, Brough Made represents quality, purpose, and creating products that bring people closer to the things that matter most.

Looking Ahead

We have many ideas for future products, and we're excited to continue creating resources that help families preserve memories, strengthen relationships, and build meaningful traditions.
