The temple will help reduce travel for members who currently attend the nearby Gilbert Arizona Temple, while also serving growing communities in Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and surrounding areas.
Another unique aspect is how quickly Arizona's temple landscape has expanded. When completed, the Queen Creek Arizona Temple will join temples in Mesa, Snowflake, The Gila Valley, Gilbert, Phoenix, Tucson, along with the announced Yuma and Flagstaff temples.
